Neighborhood Outreach
Those closest to us...our family...our friends...our co-workers. Those we know best, and who know us best. They are some of our most loved people.
Jesus calls us to reach out to them with the life-saving, life-changing Gospel message.
1st Time Attender Follow-up

The first time that a worship attender lists their name and address, we them take a folder with some information brochures and a coffee mug filled with candy. It’s a fun way to say “We’re glad you visited with us…please come again!” |

New Homeowner Welcome

We want to reach out to new homeowners in our area with a genuine welcome to the neighborhood. Each month the church receives a listing of such folks and we take out a mug of candy along with a pamphlet listing all the churches in the area, along with an invitation to visit Christ Church. |
The Love Pantry

Christ Church does not have a large food ministry to serve needy residents on a regular basis. However, we do stock a pantry...a closet in reality...for the occasional emergency need that may develop. We also provide the makings for a meal at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter for families of the church and community who can use the extra help to put on a holiday supper. |
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held each morning the first week of August. Vacation Bible School is open to all children of the neighborhood and church. Plans are under way for the 2009 Vacation Bible School and more information will be posted soon.
Christ United Methodist Preschool
Each fall, bookmarks are made with the name of a preschool student on each bookmark. Church members become prayer partners by taking one or more of the bookmarks and pray regularly for the preschool student whose name is on the bookmark. The preschool student can request prayer for family and friend's, that information is passed on to the prayer partner who prays for that request. Also members are involved in other ways such as reading stories and assisting on special occasions.
