Music is a way for people to lift praise to God. We can all make a joyful noise unto Him, and that is what He calls us to do in His Holy Word.
We would love to have you join in fellowship with us on Music Night at Christ Church. The Handbell Choir begins rehearsal on Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Chancel Choir which practices at 7:00 p.m. No auditions are required – just a willing and faithful heart desiring to serve God through the gift of music.

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir provides music during the 10:45 a.m. blended worship, as well as additional services throughout the year. We usually have the 4th Sunday off, with special music offered. Rehearsals for the Chancel Choir are on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Room, September through June. Chancel Choir is open to adults and any youth grade 9 or older. Bob Abraham and Donna Eagleton will be the leaders.
Sonrise Singers
The Sonrise Singers (aka "Seniors Only" Choir) provide music during the 8:15 a.m. service. The music is more tradtional in style and the group sings nearly every Sunday. The Sonrise Singers are now rehearsing on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the Music Room and are open to our age 50 and over members! Ruth Hazlett directs the Sonrise Singers.
Handbell Choir
Christ Church currently has a 3-octave handbell choir which plays during both the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday services about once per month, September through June. The Bell Choir also offers music for special services throughout the year. All adults and youth grade 9 or older are invited to join the Bell Choir. Rehearsals are at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings in the Sanctuary. Ethel Peiffer is the Handbell Choir leader.
Praise Team
The Praise Team meets on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. to prepare for our weekly blended service. Jess Seppala is the Praise Team leader.
