Small Groups

Christ Church has a cluster of small groups, that gather mostly in the homes of our members on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We enjoy one another’s friendship as we grow together on our faith journey. Our groups are open to visitors – just give the group leader a call or an email ahead of time.

	Johnson & Johnson Tuesday Evenings - Weekly Our group meets Tuesday evenings in the home of Ken & Louise Johnson to share, care for one another, and learn. We have done many studies over the years including Love Is A Choice, an Andy Griffith Show series, Healing Grace by David Seamands, Wrestling With Angels, and Rick Warren's, The Purpose Driven Life. 	The Little Covenant Group Thursday Evenings - Alternate Weeks Our covenant group has been gathering to pray for each other, the needs of the church, our friends and families as well as to share joys and praises. We are using Rick Warren's The Purpose Driven Life as our current study. We have a total of twelve in our "family" when everyone comes. Some of us have been with the group since our beginning, but we have also gained and lost many throughout the years. We welcome whomever God sends to our door. 	Koinonia Women in Prayer Thursday Evenings - Alternate Weeks We are group of women who have made a Koinonia weekend retreat. We meet every other week to decorate placemats for upcoming women's Koinonia retreats. We also have Bible study and prayer. Due to space limitations of the home that the group meets in, it is currently closed to new participants. For more information, contact Harriet Lapp at 838-1294.
	For Men Only Saturday Mornings - 2nd/4th Weeks We are a group of 6-12 guys who come together for breakfast, some laughs, and lively discussion of one of the many books written for men. Currently we are reading R. Kent Hughes' book, Disciplines of a Godly Man. This group meets in the church Fellowship Hall on the second and fourth Saturday mornings from 7:00 to 8:30 am. 	Just For Ladies Saturday Mornings - 1st/3rd Weeks We meet on the first and third Saturday of the month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Music Room. We have a bible study time and prayer time and sharing time. The friendship and laughter we share is very special and we have truly become "sisters" in Christ.
